The Leopold St. Bronze Age Hoard - Professor Richard Bradley
Professor Richard Bradley (Archaeology, University of Reading), one of the UK's leading prehistorians (and also an East Oxford resident) will tell us about his recent research on one of the area's most interesting ancient metalwork finds - the Leopold Street Bronze [also Bronze Age!] Hoard. Thanks to the Ashmolean Museum and Curator Alison Roberts, the hoard itself will be brought out of archive and will form the centrepiece of Richard's presentation.
