We are delighted to say that the pottery expert Paul Blinkhorn, perhaps familiar to you from Time Team, will be running two pottery workshops with us over the weekend of 8-9 March 2014. We will be identifying and cataloguing all the pottery from the Project's 72 test pits.

 

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn or improve pottery identification skills, and also to be involved in the process of analysing all the pottery from the prehistoric to the modern period found in the test pits. You do not need to have excavated with us but please let us know when you apply for a place if you have worked on any of the test pits.

 

Each day will begin at 11am at Rewley House (1 Wellington Square) and finish at 4pm. Come to reception at 10.55am, bring your lunch (although there are plenty of cafes around the area); hot drinks will be provided.
