Tile Workshop, Saturday 14 September 10.30am - 3.30pm, Rewley House

We will be holding a day workshop with Gwilym Williams, a senior archaeologist with John Moore Heritage Services and expert in medieval tiles. Gwil will introduce tile making, focusing on local tile assemblages using the collection of tiles excavated during our Minchery Priory excavations last year and then train you in the sorting and identification of those tiles.

This will be a great chance to learn about the making and identification of medieval tiles: places are limited so please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to come. jane@archeox.net
