We will be washing finds from the Minchery Paddock excavations that were carried out in October and November 2012 by Archeox volunteers.

We excavated what was once the site of the St Nicholas Priory founded in the middle 12th Century and now have as a result of this excavation, bags and bags of fantastic (and very muddy) finds that now need washing.

If you haven't been to a finds washing session yet (or if you are completely new to us!) you are more than welcome to come and get involved. All training will be given. Do wear something old as you may get a little mucky!

Children are welcome but must be accompanied at all times by an adult. Please do bear in mind that it takes around 45 minutes at the end of each of these sessions to do the packing up so do arrive with enough time to get stuck in.
