Archaeological Walk and Talk
The weather on Sunday will be too cold for test pitting or geophysics - but - those who would like to join us for a brisk-ish archaeological walk and talk, come to Boundary Brook anyway at 10.30. It will be a great opportunity to talk about landscape archaeology. We'll head off across what was Cowley Marsh - with prehistoric interest - up the ridge across the golf course and the Roman landscape including Warneford Meadow, take in Bartlemas and the medieval landscape and return to Boundary Brook. This is a great opportunity to find out more about the landscapes we'll be investigating and the techniques we'll be using. The walk should take about an hour.
